Phebe C. Hurlburt Pupil-Teacher's Lesson Book, 1908 September-October.

In the volume, Phebe Hurlburt documents her activities teaching nature study to first graders in the model school at Cortland Normal School. The volume also contains feedback to Hurlburt's teaching program written by Lotta L. Stiles. Stiles was a critic and teacher in the model school. The entries are dated from September 15 - October 30, 1908.

Phebe C. Hurlburt was enrolled as a student in the New York State Normal and Training School at Cortland. In 1909, she graduated from the "professional course" for teacher preparation.
